With all our great laundry products, washing day couldn’t be easier and for every rotary dryer, wallfix dryer (fantastic for those with small outside spaces but who love to dry their laundry in the fresh air), and clothes dryer, we’re planting a tree on your behalf through our #LoveNature campaign. With well over 800,000 trees planted already, we’re excited about reaching our one million tree target.
We’re also excited about the launch of three very cool new ironing boards. The new Brabantia dots design brings a positive energy to the ironing table and Mandala evoke a sense of calm and tranquillity. The Brabantia Ironing Board Music design is also a great way to bring some swing to ironing and iron your stress away. To keep us ironing happy, Brabantia has also created special ‘Brabantialife’ playlists available on Spotify. Time to crank up the volume and enjoy some summer vibes!
Practical and stylish sums up our 35-litre laundry boxes. Completely stackable, they’re perfect if you need more than one laundry basket but don’t have the room. Available in four colours (black, warm red, cool grey and pastel mint), why not treat everyone to their own laundry box? Or how about this top tip? Abandon individual laundry boxes and create a three-high laundry stack for darks, colours and whites? Come washing day, there’s no sorting through piles, it’s just empty one box into the machine and off you go. Easy as that!
Thinking of all things laundry, we thought the following hacks might be useful to help keep everything clean, fresh and in tip top condition.
Try reaching for some regular household items when it comes to stain removal. Milk, hairspray, soda water, bicarbonate of soda and white wine vinegar can all be our saviours when it comes removing annoying stains, so always Google first and give it a go. We think you’ll be surprised at the results.
To prevent your clothes from fading add a teaspoon of salt to your wash. And remember, always turn dark clothes inside out to retain their colour.
When it comes to the amount of detergent you use – don’t guesstimate. Too much detergent creates so many suds they trap the dirt in our clothes. Always use the recommended amount, or less – some people say this gets your clothes looking better and saves money too. Using less detergent may also help reduce any odours coming from your front loader.
This is a great hack from homemaker supremo, Martha Stewart. Here she explains a frustration-free way to fold a fitted sheet. Airing cupboards will never be the same again!
