One of life’s simple pleasures must be pegging out the washing under a beautiful blue sky and bringing it in dry and smelling of a delicious spring day. So, why not make the most of the season’s perfect laundry weather and help the environment at the same time? Not only does drying your washing outdoors keep your electric bills down, but with our #Love Nature campaign, you can help the environment too! What’s not to love!
One million trees
With an amazing 750,000 trees already planted through our #LoveNature scheme, we’re extending the campaign to include our full clothes drying range (rotary dryers, WallFix dryers, indoor clothes lines and indoor drying racks). Committed to meeting our target of planting one million trees in tropical countries around the world, watch this space for news of when we reach that magical one million figure.
If you buy a Brabantia rotary dryer, WallFix dryer, internal clothes line or drying rack (hanging dryer rack, T- model and drying rack tower), international non-profit organisation WeForest will plant a tree on your behalf.
At Brabantia, we’ve got a host of top tips to help make your washing moments that bit easier. A full guide is available to read in our dedicated magazine.
A couple of our favourite tips are:
- Reduce the chance of tears, by closing all zips, hooks and buttons.
- For those tissue-in-the-pocket disaster moments, try using the shower on them as soon as they come out of the washing machine to power hose off those hundreds of pesky pieces of wet paper.
- Use a washbag during the week to collect your dirty socks. Then on washday, simply pop the washbag in your machine and banish lost sock syndrome for all time.
