The press launch of our Get Together range at The Dining Room at the Good Housekeeping Institute in London last week was literally buzzing, thanks to all who came! Journalists and staff from dozens of our favourite magazines attended including Red, Zest, Good Housekeeping, Elle Decoration, Country Living, Prima Baby, House Beautiful and House & Garden.
Key industry bloggers and online media came to review the range, with Domestic Sluttery doing a great review, in particular of our Get Together Cake stand quoting: “The new me loves the white version – it’s timeless and goes with anything. And if I really can’t stop myself, I’ll drape some fairy lights over it and strew it with glittery cupcakes.”
And for those who are interested the cake stands come in white (RRP £22.95), or purple (RRP £24.95) and are available from Leekes. There are also co-ordinating serving plates, bowls and other goodies in co-ordinating white, grey and purple too!
HousewaresLive came to the launch and filmed some of the key products, wonderfully demonstrated by our very own Lucy Clarke:
Domestic Goddess and novelist Ali Harris is also a huge fan of the range, and her view is it’s on trend, fashionable and stylish too:”Ok, I may have swapped a fabulous nail polish for a fancy fuschia oven glove and the latest designer catwalk look for my stylish Brabantia ‘Get Together’ kitchenware, but the same principles still apply – I may be a mum now but I still like fashionable things.”
Andrew Dunning, a London-based interior designer fell in love with the visual and practical aspects of the range, in particular the breakfast table setting: “This set featured one of my favourite items from the whole range – the delightful egg cups shown above. Made from a combination of a silicone ring and a stainless steel dish the egg cup is designed to be taken to the table as shown – you can then use the dish to hold the top of the egg shell once you have cut into your egg!” Fellow interior designer Anna Aguilar from Aguilar Interiors thought it was a “great collection…with lovely pieces.”
And, Channel 4 presenter Sarah Beeny also joined in with the Twitter action too: “RT @andrewdunning best thing I discovered today- the @BrabantiaLife ColourYourBin scheme http://ow.ly/4YmQU get your bin in a custom colour!”
