Knitted royals, patriotic chairs & specialist wallpaper, why there’s no escaping the Union Jack this month!

Royal Wedding fever is now gripping most of the nation and with just a few days to go before Prince William marries Kate Middleton, we thought we’d share a few of the fun, essential and slightly bizarre interiors and home decor ‘must-haves’ for your home!

knittingFor the true homemakers head to your local bookshop to purchase ‘Knit your own Royal Wedding’ which is jam packed with knitting patterns for 10 characters of the Royal Wedding including the bride and groom.

Domestic goddesses will be proudly displaying their Hovis bread with Union Jack packaging this month. The patriotic design and “100% British Wheat” tagline are being introduced to promote Hovis’ use of flour milled from UK wheat.  And a new beer has hit the shelves to commemorate the royal wedding, brewed by the Windsor and Eton Brewery.

Fashionistas are heading to the capitals to grab the highly sought after sequined Lulu Guinness Union Jack clutch. Back at home interior designers are decorating with the new Birds of a Feather wallpaper. The design features British garden birds, like robins and sparrows, perched on a branch and decorated with subtle hints of the Union Jack!duke and duchess of cambridge
